5th September 2024 (Early Announcement)
These are the release notes for the September 2024 tranche of updates. We actively update and maintain our software packages as well as infrastructure to keep your sites running as fast as possible.
The changes in this release are as follows:
- [Maintenance] DirectAdmin Update: Our Hosting Servers have been updated to the latest release of DirectAdmin,
1.667, from 1.666
- [Enhancement] DirectAdmin Real-Time Quotas: Your Disk Space, Bandwidth and other metrics should now be live and real-time, unlike previously where they were cached
- [Enhancement] VPS Stack Update: Our VPS Hosting Stack has been upgraded, and a new control panel interface is now applied by default
- [Enhancement] Hosting Backups: We have now enabled a 'Backup on Demand' functionality to the JetBackup interface within DirectAdmin. More information here: https://my.zarro.co.uk/knowledgebase.php?id=81-how-to-perform-a-one-off-backup-in-jetbackup
- [Enhancement] Ticketing System/KB Upgrade: We have upgraded our ticketing system and knowledgebase so that results load faster. Previously, each request for an article and its content was handled individually. These are now handled simultaneously to speed up the loading time.
- [Maintenance] Hosted UniFi Network Controller: We have upgraded our Hosted Unifi Controller to version

- [Maintenance] Managed UniFi Access Points Firmware Upgrade: We have upgraded the firmware of Managed Access Points to version
6.6.77.15402
- [Maintenance] Broadband Routers Firmware Upgrade: We have upgraded the firmware of Managed Broadband Routers to version
0.16.0 2.0.0
The above upgrades were performed in line with our regular patching schedule, and exclude other general maintenance patches, such as security updates and kernel updates which are performed regularly and in most cases, autonomously.
